More and more informed buyers are having radon tests performed when considering the purchase of a home or office building. What if an elevated concentration of radon is found? Does this mean you should walk away from your dream home? NO! Radon reduction technology has improved so much over the last few yours that reducing radon is easy and affordable.

If you like a home, Buy it--
Radon can be reduced!

Am I alone in being concerned about radon?
Absolutely not!

Hundreds of thousands of people around the country have had homes tested for radon before purchasing them. Similarly, thousands of residents have had quiet, economical, and effective radon systems installed in their homes and businesses.

If I find a home with a radon problem, should I look for another home?

If you look for another home, especially in the same area, chances are high that it will also have a radon concern since radon is associated with the rocks and soils. Radon can be reduced! Just as a water drainage problem can be fixed with a sump pump or a leaky roof can be repaired, a radon system can be installed to reduce radon and at a far less cost than many other home repairs. A radon system will actively draw radon from beneath a home and exhaust it safely outside.

Of the problems a house may have, radon is one of the easiest to identify and fix!

If you are interested in a home that either has an existing radon reduction system or requires one as a result of testing. Rest assured that your dream house would only be enhanced with a properly designed and installed mitigation system.

Mitigation systems have been shown to offer additional benefits beyond reducing radon, such as reducing molds and mildews.
